Your data does not survive the process
Every handset is factory-wiped on arrival and logged. If it cannot be wiped, it is destroyed rather than resold.
Refurbished, not shredded
Working phones are cleaned, tested and resold. Broken ones are stripped for the parts that keep other phones alive. Almost nothing goes to waste.

Pick this if it works perfectly and just looks used.
Faulty
Anything cracked or not fully working: a cracked screen or back glass, a worn-out battery, Face ID or camera faults. It must still switch on. You see the most we’ll pay, and we confirm the exact price once we’ve inspected it.
Pick this if something is cracked or has stopped working, but it still powers up.
We can’t take a phone that won’t switch on at all, or one with liquid damage.

Selling a broken iPhone or iPad
A damaged iPhone or iPad is worth real money to us — the parts go into other repairs. Pick "Faulty" and describe it. It must still switch on. You see the most we will pay for it; once it arrives we diagnose the fault and confirm your exact price. If it is lower, accept the revised offer or have it sent back free. These are the faults we see most, and buy:
- Cracked or shattered screen
- Cracked or lifting iPad screen
- Cracked back glass
- Battery that will not hold a charge
- Dead pixels, lines or pressure marks on the screen
- Faulty charging port
- Camera not working or misted
- Face ID not working
- Speaker or microphone faults
- Bent or badly dented frame
- Buttons not responding
It must still switch on — we cannot take a phone that is completely dead. Nor can we take liquid damage: the corrosion spreads and there is no reliable way to price what it has reached. We also cannot buy a phone that is still locked to someone’s Apple Account, or one reported lost or stolen.

How it works

Pick the model, storage and condition. For a working phone the figure you see is the figure we pay. For a faulty one it is the most we pay, and we confirm the exact price once we have inspected it.

Choose a day. A courier collects from your door. Box it and pad it out with whatever you have — an old box and some scrunched paper is perfect.

We check it
We test it, wipe it, and check the IMEI is clear. If it is as described, that is the end of it.

Bank transfer the same day the check passes. No vouchers, no store credit, no waiting for a payment run.
What decides what your iPhone is worth?
Four things, in roughly this order. Knowing them means the price you are quoted is the price that lands.
- The model
- By far the biggest factor. A generation older typically halves the value, and Pro Max models hold their money longest.
- The screen and glass
- A clean, uncracked screen is the difference between a phone we resell as it is and one that needs a part fitting before it can go anywhere.
- Battery health
- Under 80% and the phone needs a new battery before resale, so it is worth less. Check under Settings → Battery → Battery Health & Charging.
- Storage size
- Worth having but rarely decisive — a jump from 128 GB to 512 GB is worth tens of pounds, not hundreds.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to turn off Find My iPhone?＋
Yes, and this is the one thing that genuinely stops a sale. Settings → your name → Find My → Find My iPhone → off. A handset that arrives still locked to your Apple Account cannot be reset or resold, so we would have to send it back to you. We will text you a reminder before collection.
Should I wipe the phone first?＋
Please do — Settings → General → Transfer or Reset iPhone → Erase All Content and Settings. Back it up first. We wipe every phone again on arrival regardless, and log it against your order, but doing it yourself means your data never leaves your hands at all.
What if my phone is locked to a network?＋
We still buy it, but it is worth less than an unlocked one, so tell us in the description. If it turns out to be locked when we did not expect it, you get a revised offer to accept or refuse — we do not just pay you less without asking.
What if my screen is cracked?＋
We buy it, as long as it still switches on. Choose "Faulty" — you see the most we pay, and we confirm the exact price once we have inspected it. If it is lower, accept the revised offer or have the phone sent back free. Cracked phones are a normal part of what we take in.
How quickly do I get paid?＋
Bank transfer on the day your phone arrives and passes its check. Not a payment run, not vouchers, not store credit.
What does collection cost?＋
Nothing. A courier collects from an address and a day you choose. If you decide against the offer after we have checked the phone, it comes back to you free as well.
What if the phone is not as I described it?＋
You get a revised offer with the reason, and you accept it or you refuse it. Refuse and we return the phone at our cost. We never quietly pay less than you agreed to.
Do you buy iPads as well?＋
Yes — iPad, Air, mini and Pro, from the 9th generation onwards. Choose iPad on the form instead of iPhone and pick your model. Tablets hold their value better than phones, so an older iPad is often worth more than you would expect.
Can I sell more than one?＋
Yes, and it is common — an upgrade cycle usually shakes two or three out of a household. Submit each one so each gets its own price, and we will collect them together.

About BuyMyiPhone
BuyMyiPhone is the Apple arm of Skreena Limited, a refurbishment business that buys, repairs and resells consumer electronics. We buy iPhones and iPads. We already do this with Dyson machines at WeBuyDyson and with consoles at SellMyPlayStation.
That matters for what we can pay. We are the end buyer, not a middleman placing your phone with someone else — the offer comes from the people who actually take delivery, test it and resell it. There is no second margin to fund.
Working phones are refurbished and resold. Damaged ones are stripped for the screens, boards and cameras that keep other repairs going. Very little of what we take in is wasted.
